Introduction to the UK Engineering and Mining Equipment Exhibition:

Hillhead, the UK's largest exhibition for construction and mining machinery, is the world's largest quarrying industry trade show. Established in 1982, it is the UK's most important quarrying exhibition, bringing together major suppliers. In addition to various heavy industrial machinery, mining equipment, and mineral recycling machinery, it covers quarrying, mining, heavy construction, materials handling, concrete, asphalt, road paving, civil engineering, factory rental, demolition, and landfill.

It proved to be a huge success in all aspects, highlighting its position as the UK's largest trade show for the quarry, construction and engineering industries. The UK Mining Show set new records in visitor numbers, with visitors spending more time at the show than ever before.

Hillhead is currently the UK's biggest mining machinery exhibition and one of the world's most important machinery trade shows. A hallmark of Hillhead is that all exhibited machinery must be demonstrated in actual working conditions on-site, a key feature that distinguishes it from other exhibitions.
