The Panama Trade Fair (EXPOCOMER) is Panama's largest and most influential comprehensive trade fair. Established in 1982, it is one of the most influential trade fairs in Central and South America, and an excellent annual opportunity to promote Panama's economic development. To expand the fair's influence, the opening ceremony is presided over by the President of Panama, and presidents and political figures from many Central and South American countries are invited to attend. The Panamanian government also invites importers from Central and South American countries to participate in the fair annually.
The Panama Trade Fair (EXPOCOMER) is held concurrently with business roundtables and forums. Exhibitors have achieved good sales results, and two-thirds of them request to participate again each year. It has undoubtedly become a shortcut for domestic goods to enter the Central and South American market. The main exhibits include three categories: food, beverages, and agricultural products; textiles, clothing, and accessories; and technology and electronic products.
The Panama Trade Fair (EXPOCOMER), with its long history and international reach, has become one of the most important trade fairs for importers in Central and South America to understand markets and organize sourcing. Aimed at promoting trade and industry, it has once again become an ideal venue for showcasing new products and services.
